One of the questions we get asked frequently by many planning to visit SCOAN is the cost of accommodation within the church premises. As you may already know, SCOAN offers accommodation in the church premises to their ‘official’ visitors. And you may want to know the fees to help you plan or make a decision on your visit.
While the SCOAN accommodation fees on church premises are not explicitly disclosed, you will get to know if you happen to get an official invitation from them, or through someone who’s lodged there before. Having worked with clients and guests many times who have used the facility, we were able to find out a rough cost of accommodation within SCOAN premises.
So, what are SCOAN accommodation fees on church premises?
Accommodation fees within SCOAN premises cost between 800 USD to 4,000 USD per week; $800 weekly for shared bunks and $4,000 for 5-star standard room. Normally, you will pay weekly and this covers feeding and other amenities. Depending on your budget, the rooms range from decent bunks to luxury 5 Star standard hotel rooms and VIP Deluxe rooms. The VIP Rooms at the SCOAN cost between $12,000 to $15,000 per week!
Typically when the church invites you, you will choose accommodation within the SCOAN premises. Then, you will be required to confirm your arrival with them and they will be at the airport to pick you to the hotel room. Unless in some cases, SCOAN invitation is normally for a week.
If you plan to visit The Synagogue, Church of all Nations, Lagos – Nigeria (SCOAN), and would like to stay on the church premises, you will have to schedule your visit with them on the church’s official website. The church will receive your application and send you a letter of invitation to SCOAN (Nigeria). You are their official guest and you will be very well received and attended to.
That sounds easy, though the reality is somewhat different; it is an uphill battle to get a letter of invitation from SCOAN, as you would expect. They receive loads of applications from intending visitors worldwide, and it usually takes time to get in touch with you (from several months to even years). You may not even hear from them.
Then again, you may find the accommodation a bit pricey and this may become much of a problem to you. However, there are many ways you can get around this.
If the SCOAN accommodation fees on church premises are not an issue to you, but you can’t seem to get an invitation (quick) from the church, then it’s quite an easy situation.
