OK EXPRESS Bisho

Today I went to buy drinks at OK express, it was so hot and I was thirsty for a cold drink, when I went to their fridge, all the drinks were warm. The only fridge that seemed to be working was the one close to the till with the small cans, im still not sure about the one that store juice as the juice wasn't that cold too.

Long queues with only one teller to assist. Not a very nice experience especially since it was an extremely hot day, and it's supposed to be a convenience store

Today I visited Ok Express Engen Bhisho and, unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired, particularly regarding the service at the deli and the overall customer care. While the location is convenient and the store has potential, the service quality significantly detracted from what could have been a pleasant visit. Starting with the deli, I was quite disappointed. When I approached, there was no staff member readily available to assist me. I had to wait and hope that someone passing by would notice and offer help, which eventually happened, but it was far from the attentive service one expects from a deli counter. The absence of dedicated staff at the deli counter created an unwelcoming atmosphere and made the process unnecessarily slow and frustrating. Moving on to the checkout experience, the cashier’s behavior was equally underwhelming. After standing in a slow-moving queue, I was greeted not with a friendly hello or a smile, but with a curt question about whether I needed a plastic bag. This lack of basic customer courtesy felt cold and impersonal. There were two cashiers at the tills, but only one was serving customers, and she seemed more engaged in chatting with her colleague than attending to the customers waiting in line. This not only slowed down the queue but also made the environment feel chaotic and poorly managed. Customer service is a critical element of any retail experience, and unfortunately, Ok Express Engen Bhisho fell short in this regard. The staff’s inattentiveness and lack of engagement made it one of those places where you don’t look forward to returning. It’s disappointing because the store itself is well-stocked and clean, and with a bit more focus on customer interaction and staff presence, it could easily improve. In conclusion, while Ok Express Engen Bhisho offers convenience and a decent product range, the poor service at the deli and the indifferent attitude at the checkout significantly mar the experience. I hope management takes note of these issues and works on training and staffing improvements to enhance customer satisfaction. For now, I would hesitate to recommend this location if you value prompt and friendly service.

The best development for Bisho in 2020 resulted in Fishaway, OK, Steers, Debonair, three Atm machines from Sade Bank, Fnb and capitec. Engen garage expanded. There is a 24 hour convenient store
