An upmarket estate located in Salt Rock just outside Ballito. The estate is an Eco estate with small wildlife roaming the grounds. The estate has fantastic security located close to shopping centers and schools. One negative is crossing the main road to the schools and shopping centers which could be addressed with a traffic light.
They have lovely tennis courts and a separate place with very cool pool, gym, steam room and sauna although the sauna doesn’t work. The restuarant is also a winner as staff are top end and food worth your time and money ... the clubhouse is about 1,5 km away. It has top facilities and ask Emmanuel if you need anything he has been working there for 7 years so know all your tricks - bring your own sauces, drinks, cutlery and have a feast upstairs - wifi is extremely weak but otherwise a super overall experience
Beautiful surroundings but the Estate is NOT very visitor friendly. We rented an apartment for a week but there are signs at the pool area indicating it is only for residents’ use. If you’re a short stay visitor, there is another pool you have to use. The Estate clubhouse on Salt Rock Beach is also NOT available to you if you’re on a short stay (we booked for 6 days). Not very welcoming, basically apartheid again.

Excellent secure estate with top class homes, environment and facilities
Nice estate, but speed humps are terrible! Even going slow they rock your car. Also, each contractor driving in is handed a laminated sign that they must carry with them that reads something like "no 3 point turns in residential driveways". Seriously?
Lovely distant sea view, well maintained and good security
Dunkirk in my opinion is the most beautiful estate on the North Coast. Great natural bush and beautiful sea views but the best thing is that there is an amazing family vibe! There is also one of the best restaurants in the area on the estate, Ray’s kitchen.
