Stay away from cura... lots of better options

Excellent service

I have been paying into this Gap Insurance for 2years and never needed to put in a claim, until I had my baby 28th July 2022. I had pre-authorisations confirmed from the 11th Jan 2022 until 20th July 2022 that they would pay out the remaining balance from procedure by 15th August 2022. I received an email on 27th August 2022 to authorise new company ownership to continue with cover, to then be informed on the 1st Sept 2022 the company was being liquidated and under investigation. All pay outs will be processed once financed loans are reissued. I have been trying to get an answer since 8th Sept 2022 on a weekly bases to find out about payment and keep being ignored or receive response of "payments are still in court may take up to a year." However, they are still taking monthly debit orders and paying ALL staff, brokers, and taking bonuses yet unable to pay out clients or give them adequate information therefore leaving paying clients being handed over to debt collectors. And if you cancel your policy, you won't receive the pre authorised payment. Really unhappy customer 2022.
