As previous reviewers said, they keep cold calling me to draft a will. I have received quite a few calls from them in the past. After telling them my will is already drafted, they still keep calling me after I have asked not to be called by them again. Just to add to this. I was once again contacted by capital legacy today August 2025. How do get this company to stop phoning me

1 July 2025 To whom it may concern, My name is Shane Marcus Luttig, I was born and breed in Boksburg, where I stay with my loving wife and children. I write to you to express my concern over yet another insurance company trying to pull wool over their customers eyes. With this letter I hope to give you a brief understanding of myself, the life I lead, and how my insurer (Capital Legacy) has done anything in their power to prevent me from claiming what they are obligated to pay me. I am not saying that this is the greatest David and Goliath story but I remain steadfast in the face of adversity and with my story I hope to expose the giant which is Capital Legacy and their insurance scam. Like many people my employment history is a tapestry woven from a variety of jobs across multiple different industries, from working in a restaurant to installing gutters. However, this issue revolves around a different job. In 2015 I had been stuck in a period of unemployment and rough years, when I was lucky enough to apply and get a job at my local municipality, Ekurhuleni, in the Road Markings and Signs department. My job revolved around cleaning the roads before and after a job; painting the road markings on the road; and digging holes for and planting street signs. So, as you can believe it was a very physically tolling job, yet I was never one to shy away from the hard work. I worked there for 9 years (2015-2024) until I was medically boarded due to health issues, namely, lymphedema and an enlarged heart which limited my ability to do the physical labour laid out in the scope of my employment contract. In November of 2021 I received a phone call from a telemarketer/broker looking to provide me with life insurance, he worked for Capital Legacy. Even though I had been with 1Life insurance since 2015 I was open to listening to the broker as he was extremely polite and friendly, so at the end of the call I had decided to make the move over to Capital Legacy mainly due to this broker and his ability to make me feel like family, and his regularly checkups made me feel like my investment was in good hands. Fast-forward to the end of 2023 and my broker’s regular checkups had dried up. So, in an effort to enquire about my broker I called Capital Legacy only to find out that my broker no longer works there and in fact that he was disbarred by the company. To this day the company has not assigned a new broker to me and my old broker’s name is still on my policy, so with no one to directly speak to I struggled to find out information about my policy. For instance, when I was medically boarded in 2024 my family was struggling and I vaguely remembered my old broker mention a disability payout. So, I called Capital Legacy to enquire if this was in fact the case and they insured me that I in fact DID NOT have a disability claim available. However, after my recent communications with Capital Legacy I have been left to question the honesty and integrity of the company. In a recent effort to get in contact with my broker I finally managed to get through to him, this communication came after Capital Legacy sent me a letter confirming the cancellation of my policy, in which he gave me permission to share our conversation with any 3rd party. Once I gave him a breakdown of my situation, he said that it came to no surprise as I am not the first one to struggle claiming from the insurer. He stated that he cannot remember every detail from our call back in November of 2021, however he does remember that I did not answer ‘no’ to every question as the insurer claims. He remembers this because he still had to place a 2-month loading period on my policy due to me answering ‘yes’ to a couple of the health questions. This means that the benefits of my policy only came into effect January 2022 because of my health issues. This date is confirmed by Capital Legacy’s cancellation letter where it states “Policy commencement date: 1 January 2022”. The next question I asked was whether he had the call recording like the insurer claims, he said “no, I ha

We are extremely concerned about the continued lack of truthful and transparent feedback regarding matters involving Nthabiseng Nkopane Capital Legacy. There have been repeated instances where updates provided by you have proven to be inaccurate or misleading. This pattern is unacceptable and is seriously undermining trust and progress. We are now requesting that all future communications, especially those involving Capital Legacy, be submitted in writing and with clear proof or documentation. If we do not receive an honest and verifiable update by 30th May 2025 ,we will be forced to escalate this matter further — including reporting it to relevant authorities and Capital Legacy directly.

Poor quality service, quick to make deals and arrangements but slow to do anything. I have spoken Eron Manickum from Capital Legacy to up date my Will on the 8th of April 2024 I have tried numerous times to contact him again to find out when I will receive the up dated Will. Without any feed back or update of Will which I am still waiting on I have send my cancelation of the policy on the 9th of May 2024 and still I do not get any response. I have send a second cancelation to Eron again today and decided to write this review due to the poor service I have received. I will be stopping my debit order that I see has been put in place as soon as I can get to my bank.

I asked for to update my Will a month and a half ago.I was told they would send the papers and I'd sign and send back. After a whole month I realised I had no contact or communication. Decided am canceling this service because what happens if my loved ones need to claim will it be the same process.Ive now called twice now and still no paper work of cancelation. Empty promises and am honestly feeling unsafe having my will in their hands.Huge regret.

To update your existing will and testament with Capital Legacy seems not to be part of their service. I have been contacted a few months ago regarding a new product that was offered which I was not interested in. I rather requested them to arrange a meeting to update our will and testament as we have been blessed with a new family member, but never heard of anyone again. About a week ago I have again requested the same via their online chat platform. I was informed that a broker or relevant representative will contact me for assistance and further arrangements. I have not received any email or phonecall by any Capital Legacy representative since. It seems like their after sales service are non-existant and that our monthly debit orders for the so called products and service are a waste of money. If this is the kind of service received to just try and update your info, I am very concerned to what service we should expect when we actually need their assistance when required.
