**Title: Unacceptable Service and Lack of Communication from Santam Car Insurance** I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and communication from Santam Car Insurance regarding our car insurance policy. We have multiple cars insured with Santam, all of which included a car hire option in the event of repairs. Despite paying for this service, we recently discovered that one of our cars was removed from the car hire option without any notification to us. This is unacceptable, as we continued to pay for the service in good faith, expecting the coverage to be in place. To add to the frustration, we recently needed to send one of our cars in for repairs. We were then informed that the car hire option was not available for this vehicle, even though we had been paying for it. The lack of communication from Santam regarding this change is highly unprofessional and unacceptable. Furthermore, it has been a month since we submitted the car for repairs, and there is still no resolution or clear understanding of what went wrong. This prolonged period without a solution is causing significant inconvenience and frustration. We rely on the car hire option to manage our transportation needs during repairs, and Santam's failure to provide this service is impacting our daily lives and business operations. We demand immediate action to rectify this situation: 1. Provide a clear explanation as to why the car hire option was removed without notice. 2. Ensure the car hire option is reinstated immediately for all our vehicles as per our policy. 3. Offer suitable compensation for the period we have been paying for a service that was not provided. 4. Expedite the repair process of our vehicle and provide us with a timeline for its completion. Santam's lack of service and communication is unacceptable, and if this issue is not resolved promptly, we will consider alternative insurance providers and escalate the complaint to relevant consumer protection agencies.
Do not use Santam. They promise one thing to take the product then go back on their word after the first year. Just so that they can charge you a higher premium with false information.

Poor customer services. Tried calling 3 times. Get put on hold. Then the call cuts. Went on the Santam app. Requested a quote for additional car, still no feedback or call back after 3 days. Tried Outsurance - requested a call back, they called within a minute. Quotation received. Santam Insurance good and proper no more.
A company with poor ethics and even less manners. A claim that's been waiting for 5 months to be sorted out, with little or no communication. Santams employees do not feel the need to communicate with people who they dealing with, especially if it is not their client and they need to pay. They cover up for incidents when they can clearly use logic but won't use it. They do not reply to emails and when you call them, they lash out at you.
