Good food portions, their smoothies and juices are great. Service was a bit slow although it wasn’t full.
I ordered a burger expecting it to taste like, well… beef. Unfortunately, it didn’t. It wasn’t undercooked, but the flavour was awful and nothing like real beef at all. It honestly made me question what I was eating, I couldn’t even eat half. On top of that, the service was painfully slow, which just added to the disappointment. Definitely not worth the wait or the money. I won’t be ordering this again. My milkshake was nice though
Great vibes, relaxed atmosphere and Staff is always friendly. Great spot to wind down with good company and enjoy cocktails, music and fairly decent food. The food is fairly decent given that it’s not a fine dining restaurant.
The atmosphere is ok, the music is good, and the waiters are quite friendly but the star of the he show, FOOD is way nelow standard. unfortunately I will not be returning here, If you cannot cook a mere lamb steak properly, there little hope thinga will be better next time. It's a shame
Kgomolemo* served the team well for Year End function. And when he was eventually busy elsewhere, he handed us over to another waittron to serve us. Good service considering a very busy day. Parking is a big problem for the establishment in this shopping area, especially during busy period like this. Some team members had to leave prematurely due to lack of parking, not Life Grand's fault. Food is excellent, with wide variety. * Spelling could be incorrect.
I was there for the Mogodu Monday special, the food was great , you get a complimentary plate of African food. My waiter was quick and very patient, her name is Faith. Loved her service, she took our drinks order, made sure our stay is very comfortable. Moved our table, and she is very friendly. I give her 10/10, had a minor issue with the table reservations but the manager gave us complimentary shots and apologized for the misunderstanding. He even sang happy birthday to my friend. The drinks are very affordable, their prices shocked me, when the bill came I was so surprised it was very low and we had ordered beer and ciders and a few shots. This is now my favourite place will definitely be visiting again. Areas of improvement: they should really do something nice for people who are celebrating their birthdays there, even if it's a complimentary plate of dessert and have a few waiters sing for them to make their day special. The tables take long to be cleared in the early hours of the evening as it is a bit busy. The toilet needs more attention, in terms of cleaning and people traffic. They should keep ash trays on the table for the outdoor area , it being a smoking area , you shouldn't have to ask for an ash tray from your waiter when you need to smoke. Overall I loved the ambiance, not too crowded, affordable, clean and the music is great. It's a wonderful experience.
Really good services, very attentive staff. Overall the place needs a deep clean, the table we were seated at still had sauce on it and given that we were there fir breakfast, I assume it was from the previous nights service. There are coffee mug rings stained on the tables. Table was wobbly and the couch seating is not comfortable to eat at. Looking around the place really needs a clean.
The food was HORRIBLE!!! I ordered meaty tapas and every tasted rotten I’m not sure why my entire meal tasted like it was going bad but I am truly disappointed I then ordered a mojito which was just a disaster too what is going on in this restaurant?? Then ordered the salmon ceviche I don’t even want to talk about it it came soggy and disgusting 🤮
We had a not so pleasant experience the first time and we were invited back and our expectations were more than exceeded the second time around. Our waiter and the manager were friendly and paid attention to detail. We loved ALL the dishes that we had, the quality and presentation of the food was impressive. I absolutely recommend and will be going back👌🏽
We went in for supper on Friday. We didn't have a booking but they did have seating for us. Being a cold winter night, I was glad that they had patio heaters, which were amazing. For my main, I had the prawn with a side of sweet potato chips. The serving was 10 prawns butterflied. The sweet potato chips were light and thinly cut, and I did enjoy these. For dessert, I had the molten chocolate and vanilla ice cream. The cake was very warm and it was amazing with the ice cream on a cold night. I would definitely return.
