SA Underwriting Agencies (SAU)

They are the most horrible insurance company ever my husbamds car was insured by them for 280 000 rand in may i was in an accident with the car they only just finshed the claim refusing to pay my husband a cent giving the financing company only 77 000 rand and saying the cars value has lower by a whole 100000 rand they took access fees like 9000 +an additional 14900 and another 6000 not explaining why they were only going to give him a 90000 rand but when he said he wants the car back they took the 90000 rand never explaining to him he is not going to get the money at the moment we are in contact with the vehicle ombudsman we are not going to leave the matter here please people be careful with this companythe service they said they giving is not true so much for you are covered immediatly they are thieves robbing people blind

Lost my car keys today.. I was so lost.. I contacted sa underwriters. Princess Botswe was very helpful getting me roadside assistance and following up on me while I wait for tow truck.. And also starting the process of my claim for a new key.. Thank you so much for the assistance and service

I was in an accident on 19 September 2025, and lodged the claim on the 22 September, Michelle Daniels assisted me and she was so professional and concerned about whether I was hurt or not. She was able to assist me and lodged the claim in less than 20 minutes. I am very happy with SAU.

Absolutely nightmare dealing with them. I'm waiting for a claim form since 14th June it's been 3 weeks and I been sent from agent to agent to get my car fixed.

The premises are easy to locate, and accessible. Can't complain about how I was received, and was treated. Note: I don't think this adds much value in terms of rating, as context is not applicable to the public or consumers. My experience and rating is thus not from that view. But rather, from the view of day to day dealings with organizations.

Worst experience every had a accident on the 15 April 2025 car was taken in. Got a car hire on the 16th they say I can only have for a month. My car was only send to the repair place the 13May and will be there for two weeks . Now my rental is up and all they can say when I asked why dit they take so long to send it to the repair shop . They say sorry it was over Easter ( which did not last 2 weeks) and it would not have made a difference if it was send earlier. YES IT WOULD HAVE . BECOUSE THE THE REPAIR SHOP WOULD HAVE STARTED EARLIER AND I WOULD STILL HAVE MY HIRE CAR AND WOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR EXTRA DAYS WITH A HIRE CAR AND ALSO PAY MY EXCESS . THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THERE CUSTOMERS AT ALL . AND I WILL TELL AS MANY PEOPLE ABOUT THIS. YOU COST ME MORE THEN SOULD HAVE AND MORE STRESS AND FRUSTRATION.
