GIB service is rubbish. No communication 😪 what so ever. Claims take forever. I will never recommend anyone to save their pension fund with them.
Absolutely appalling experience with GIB! Submitted a claim months ago and have been met with endless delays and broken promises. Every deadline they've given me has been missed, and it's a nightmare trying to get anyone on the phone to get an update. The lack of communication and transparency is staggering. The online system is a complete failure. I've had to chase them repeatedly just to get a basic update on the status of my claim. Would NOT recommend to anyone. Unacceptable service!
You have more chance getting thought to a government call center than reaching anyone at this business. Trying to transfer my funds 13 weeks later and still waiting. Starting to think this is a scam.
Such a horrible and unprofessional retirement fund, they’re the only ones who make you wait 6-8 weeks, their website is a joke, they even pause withdrawals using a lame excuse, pathetic service too, not friendly
I am sure their are clients who have received exceptional service. I however have received poor service. There is not enough space to tell the entire story. What an atrocious service GIB is giving me. literally feel like I am asking for money from them. I submitted my withdrawal request on the 25th of Oct, and have been liasing with an agent named Betty who has been giving me false outcomes on my request. She advised me I should be getting my money Saturday if not Mondaythe 13th of December 2024 and to my surprise nothing has been processed, i took it upon myself to go to their offices and to my surprise the money has not been sent to SARS when I was advised all the steps are completed.Your service is absolutely appalling let alone your communication. I need this resolved else I will be escalating this further. I spoke to Tony who also wasn’t much assistances as I have been advised they are closing for the festive so when will I exactly get my money
I've experienced repeated delays with changing explanations regarding my retirement fund withdrawal, despite making several calls. I was initially told to wait six weeks, a month ago, then informed on 6/12/24 that the payout would occur before the 15th due to a SARS submission. However, after another call, I was told the payout would happen over the weekend, and I'm still waiting. Can someone please assist me in resolving this issue?
Worse service ever , they make their problems yours , they advised it takes 6 to 8 weeks for pay out but next thing when the time has elapsed they blame sars and tax directives . Others take 4 weeks max to pay out not more than two months .
Yhoo its been a pain trying to get my provident fund after resignation from this company. A real pain. Busi the administrator will say give me until Monday, on Monday you call and its a different story. Yesterday I called again, she returned my call and said my funds have been released they should clear later same day or latest Saturday morning. It’s Saturday morning now and nothing. I hate how now I have to go through this and promises aren’t kept. Pure incompetency from the team.
