Yes. Every listing is manually reviewed by a real person before it goes live — we do not auto-publish. Listings must have accurate contact details, a verified category, and a genuine business description. This is by design: a directory that anyone can add anything to is not trustworthy. Rwanda's culture of high standards informed how we think about listing quality.

Yes — WhatsApp is the primary channel for business communication in Rwanda, including for professional services like law firms, clinics, and contractors. Your Destinali listing displays a prominent WhatsApp button that opens a direct conversation with you. No form, no waiting. Customers who tap it are serious enquiries.

Google is very effective at surfacing relevant results for bilingual queries. If your description mentions both English and French terms for your service, you will be discoverable in both languages. We recommend writing your description primarily in English (the most common search language in Rwanda) but including the French equivalent of your service type in your description for additional reach.

Yes. Destinali lists businesses that serve customers in Rwanda, regardless of the ownership structure. Many listings on Destinali are internationally-owned businesses with a local presence. What matters is that you are genuinely operating in and serving Rwandan customers.

Paid plans are currently billed in USD via an international card payment gateway. Mobile Money integration for direct Rwandan Franc payments is on our roadmap. For now, we show the Franc equivalent on this page so you know exactly what you will pay before being asked for card details. The free plan costs nothing at all.

Yes. We do not run trial periods that expire, and we do not down-rank free listings to force upgrades. Your listing stays live indefinitely at no cost. Paid plans (Pro and Agency) add priority placement and extra features — but upgrading is entirely your choice and the free listing is never penalised.

Google typically indexes new Destinali listings within 1–3 weeks. Rwanda has relatively low online competition for local business searches, so listings often rank well for long-tail queries like 'accountant in Kimironko' or 'restaurant near Kacyiru' within the first month. The earlier you list, the earlier you start building that ranking history.

Social media posts are ephemeral — they appear in feeds and disappear. A Destinali listing is a permanent, structured web page that Google can index and AI tools can cite.
