- Short Visit Visa (SVV)
- Temporary Residence Visa (TRV)
- Permanent Residence Visa (PRV)
SVV – Short Visit Visa (24 types)
This category contains twenty-four (24) visa types tailored to specificity of the traveler’s purpose of visit and status. The types range from Tourism to honorary consul to non-accredited diplomat and many more including foreigner who was born in Nigeria. Visas issued under this category permit a maximum stay of 30 to 90 days.
TRV – Temporary Residence Visa (36 types)
This category contains thirty-six (36) visa types recommended for travel purposes ranging from short-term work to accredited diplomat assignment. The TRV is a multiple entry visa that may not exceed a duration of twenty-four (24) months or two (2) years.
PRV – Permanent Residence Visa (15 types)
This category contains fifteen (15) visa types applicable to Spouse of a Nigerian Citizen, Senior dependent of a PRV holder, rare talent or highly skilled worker, exceptional investor, or retiree. PRV policy is subject to periodic review.
