If you want to visit Nigeria but can’t get a visa in your country of residence, no problems. You can get a visa on arrival at the port of entry in Nigeria. But…wait! Do not travel to Nigeria without the Visa on Arrival Approval Letter. You’ll be returned from the airport by the Nigerian Immigration.
If you want a visa on arrival, you must apply and get the approval letter before travelling. This document (VoA Approval Letter) is what qualifies you to travel and get your visa upon arrival at the port of entry in Nigeria. It normally takes within two business days to get your Visa on Arrival Approval Letter if you apply through us.
Most visitors prefer the visa on arrival option because it saves them the time, stress and all the hassles with the embassy. It could also be cost effective for many.
Normally, you’d need a business associate or representative in Nigeria to help process your visa on arrival approval. Since we are your preferred travel partners, we will act as such.
There are a few instances when you will need to get your visa on arrival, at the port of entry in Nigeria:
The Nigerian Immigration Service states that Visa on Arrival is available to citizens of all countries except ECOWAS Nationals who do not require visa to visit Nigeria and other countries which Nigeria has entered into visa abolition agreements.

You can apply for a Visa on Arrival through a Business Partner or Representative in Nigeria (such as Destinali). When you contact us, we will request for a visa on arrival on your behalf from Office of The Comptroller General, Nigeria Immigration Service Headquarters, Abuja.
This also means we will bear responsibility for your immigration rules and regulations till you leave the country (Nigeria).
As demanded by the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), you will need to provide us with the following information, amongst other things, before we can apply for a visa on arrival on your behalf:
You must also give us a copy of your passport and flight itinerary showing return ticket to process Visa on Arrival for you.
When the application is approved, we will forward a Letter of Approval to you, with a copy sent to the Airline and Immigration port of entry (e.g. Murtala Mohammed Int’l Airport, Lagos – Nigeria). This process normally takes 48 hours (2 working days).
As your travel partner, we advise that you contact us in time to apply for your visa on arrival. We will send you the Visa Approval Letter (Pre-approved visa letter) within two business days after payment. Note that the approval letter is valid for only 14 days, after which you may have to reapply.
As the name implies, this visa is issued to you on arrival at the port of entry. So, on arrival at the Airport, there is a desk usually labelled “Visa on Arrival”. Proceed there with hard copies of the VoA approval letters for immigration clearance so you would be issued your visa.
Of course we would have sent you the Visa Approval Letter by now, which you must print out and present to the Immigration at the port of entry (Airport).
